“Some souls come into our lives to remind us what unconditional love feels like.”

This painting holds a very special place in my heart. It was born from one of the purest forms of love I have ever experienced.

Heart Keepers is a tribute to James and Gordo, my two rescue dogs. They came into my life when, as it turns out, I needed rescuing just as much as they did. (Who rescued whom, really?)

They taught me that love doesn't need words, explanations, or conditions. Sometimes, all it takes is a little furry soul sitting beside you to remind you that everything is going to be okay.

In this painting, they become guardians of the heart. Playful protectors of the joy that lives within us, even on the days when we forget it's there.

Every brushstroke carries my gratitude for the love they have given me and the intention to share a little of that love with you.

A portal to joy. A celebration of unconditional love. A reminder that some of our greatest teachers have four paws.

For anyone who has ever loved an animal and discovered that the love they received was far greater than anything they could have imagined.
