Meet Isa Zapata
Isa's artistic background is as colorful as her art, with a business background turned self-taught artist, children's book illustrator, fine artist, entrepreneur, muralist, designer, and brand developer.
"I don't like to use labels because labels limit ourselves. Creativity is unlimited, so why do we limit ourselves by adapting to a label? I consider myself a creative person that can illustrate and write a book, create a series of fine art pieces, and design clothes. I can create a brand and concepts that tell a unique story. As a creative person, what we can bring to this world is infinite."
We can say Isa's successful career is backed by extensive media coverage. Her art, personal story, and philanthropic efforts have been highlighted in over 50 media outlets in the USA, Colombia, and Mexico. Such as NBC6, The Huffington Post, Miami Herald, CNNE, Univision, Telemundo, Brickell Magazine, etc.
Her philanthropic waves have reached outside of any planned result. Isa was the creator of "Artistas Unidos Por Dani," an online auction that raised funds for Daniela Ojeda, a Mexican girl who needed a 60K life-changing surgery. Involving world-renowned celebrities such as Ricky Martin, Kim Kardashian, Mana, among others. The "Artistas Unidos Por Dani" silent auction was a catapult that showed Isa her purpose: helping kids through her art and connections.
Following the success of Dani's online auction, Isa's helped other kids from rural areas of Colombia to have life-changing surgeries and improve their quality of life.
Isa's the founder and creative director of Soulmatescollection.com, an art-luxury brand that creates unique, sustainable bespoke shoes. Soulmates have become the place to find one-of-a-kind gifts for dog parents. Through Soulmates, Isa donates a percentage of the profits to homeless senior dogs.
Her projects as a licensed artist, entrepreneur, published children's book illustrator, designer, fine art artist, and philanthropist shared the same purpose, to inspire people, bring joy and awaken their inner child.
